My 1997 Dodge Ram 1500′s aftermarket Clifford alarm system…
One hell of an alarm, almost too good… Not a set up either, I never touched a button or rubbed against the truck, probably has proximity even though it’s an old system.

oh i see .
I am glad that they lay down too much salt up there. Here they don’t even plow the roads. Nice alarm system.
@DriveGM My 1999 Ram has a Alarm system with Remote start, I love it, like you, the previous owner put it in, and I see why, it has 8 speakers, 1 sub, 4 amps 8 disc cd changer, alot of investment. It took me a little while to figure out the Alarm system and how it works with the Remote start. I’ll have to buy a Camera and make some vids of my ram sometime.
it is a part of the USA
I got an AdSense thing a few days ago, as well. I’m not sure if you subscribe to him, but tommartyn also was invited to join the AdSense thing recently, too. It sounds like they’re expanding. I’ve got an ad on the video they wanted me to join for, but they still haven’t sent me anything about setting up payments or whatever.
yes i know now i thought it was like new England over seas
I really like that truck. its in pretty darn good condition. how many miles?
Take the Dash Apart Under the Drivers Colum you will find the Prox/Shock Sensor, there is a knob on the top of it, turn it to left to turn down the sensitivity,
P.s Take a vid of you doing it:)
I don’t like those aftermarket alarm systems that much. There a pain to deal with and don’t even work right alot of the time. My mom had one on a 1996 Blazer and after like five years or so it would turn the alarm on by it’s self some times. Every time you opened the door you would have to look at the little red light inside to see if it’s on. It also would make noises sometimes and it was kinda creepy if you were by yourself lol.
There’s a project idea, I’ll have to do that!
100k miles, 2 owners (previous owner was my cousin) so I know all the history of it from the day it rolled off the lot.
Yeah Google is looking for more profits. I got my AdSense thing all set up, I guess they send you a check when your balance hits $100…that’s going to take a loooong time
This system has a remote start too, it’s really nice on those cold mornings! I’m putting one in my Suburban Jan 26th!
Yeah, no kidding! It’ll big pretty awesome once it hits $100!
haha stupid thing!
Some of them have a sensitivity setting.
Just find the box for the alarm system and they normally have a little knob for them to adjust it.
is there a way to dis able the inoying buzzer when your door is open or the keys are in the ignition? I got a 96 dodge ram 2500 diesel and the buzzer bugs me. Expecally when the wate to start light is on
I’m sure you can just find it under the dash and yank it out. I love mine, makes me think I’m in a 70s Chrysler.
Haha lol
stupid aftermaket alarm systems, i think there useless, when they start going off nobody really notices them anymore, and just laugh while somebody is stealing your stereo
the alarm system is only as good, if the installation is good you can have an alarm that worth £1000, but if the install is crap wont make any difference
it has proximity sensors. You will appreciate a security system like that when you have something in your car you want protected; in my case, 6000 dollars worth of customizations.
yea newenglands a bitch in the winter i live on cape cod how bad is the 5.9 on gas ?
got damn…i think i need one of those…..
