no you have a code to arm it in away you type in a 4 digit code and press arm twice to disarm type in your code the switch is for the chime (beep beep)

easy for burgler to turn off… but you are supposed to hide it out of site.
The siren is very loud and it pierces the ears, making it hard to stay in the room.
Most burglers will leave at the siren instead of looking for it.

79.95!? That thing isn’t worth it. DIY security systems were much better 20 years ago. Today’s DIY security systems can be disabled by smashing the control console.
